Welcome

A lifetime of geology, openly shared.

Having spent more than 35+ years teaching geology, I felt a strong urge to share the small things I have developed to facilitate teaching and learning of the subject — software applications, collections of field photographs and information related to geology.

At present I am Associate Professor of Geology at Govt. Holkar Science College, Indore. My main areas of interest are Geomorphology, Remote Sensing, GIS, computer programming and photography.

“Rocks are records of events that took place at the time they formed. They are books. They have a different vocabulary, a different alphabet, but you learn how to read them.”
